Why you’ll froth over this:

FEEL GOOD VIBES.

About your DMT Sessions Coach

“Dance has always been therapy for me, but I never realised the power of this until a few years ago. Dance is a way to self-express and get out of my mind. Dance is also a fun way to connect with music and the people around me. I started dance lessons at the age of three; exploring jazz, contemporary, tap, lyrical, funk, hip-hop, musical theatre, ballet , afro-house and house dance. I was training to be a professional dancer by the end of my high school years, and after several failed auditions of selective performing arts universities and companies I decided to let that dream go and study Exercise and Sports Science at Sydney University. During these early adult years, I began to explore dance and movement socially in bars and clubs and had found an entirely new passion for dance. Non-directed, unscripted, free-style dancing. It felt free, creative and therapeutic.
I’ve studied sports psychology, holistic coaching and emotional health coaching. I have been able to utilise these skills with my clients as an Exercise Physiologist and am now passionate about calling upon them to help clients in a dance-movement setting.”

Michelle Drielsma is an Exercise Physiologist and Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach from the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Through personal and professional experience, Michelle is constantly striving to better her own and her client’s physical preparedness, performance and recovery. Michelle started dancing at the age of 3, began teaching dance classes by the age of 16 and studied full-time dance for 2 years. Michelle is also a keen surfer and her interest in understanding how the body adapts to the imbalanced forces placed on a surfer’s body, acutely and chronically, led her to write a book “Fluid Surfer” – a mobility and self physical therapy techniques book which explains why surfers are likely to develop musculoskeletal problems and how to address these.
